If you need a specific length garden hose you can cut down an existing one and replace the ends to make it any size you need.
This is the same process if you need to repair a damaged garden hose. Simply cut out the damaged area and put new ends on to make two shorter hoses. Then, attach the ends together if you want to have the same length as the original.
