Eye of the Storm - Risk of Rain 2 - Item Challenges
I'm finally back with another item challenge after 60 videos since my last one... I've also decided to change some things since then with how I structure these videos and how long they are. This challenge is all based around the Artificer being the eye of a stormy blizzard - freezing and shocking everything nearby and growing in intensity. So, I decided to only pick up ice and electric based items, and limiting myself to only using the ice abilities from the artificer extended mod. I debated on using a mix of ice and lightning, but I think it was better for the aesthetics if I went full frost. I included the Mired Urn simply because of its effect of damaging nearby enemies. It doesn't fit the theme but it does fit the mechanics of it, and it fit better than any other yellow item except maybe Genesis Loop for the electric, however I did a run with it and it didn't activate once so I thought Mired Urn would be good for very slight damage and a little bit of healing whihc I desperately needed. Do you think I made the right call there?
As for the items, I used the equipment-based aspect at first as with the ZetAspects mod - it counts as three stacks of the red one, and it also made sure I actually had something in my slot. It wasn't needed at all, but I decided to start myself with one of those instead of the red as I desperately needed something the give me an edge so I could even complete this challenge, as without it - I'd die often as I only get 2 medkits for healing throughout the entire run. This way it stayed challenging but also was strong enough to be entertaining.
