1. Former Pakistan umpire Asad Rauf passed away today at the age of 66 due to a suspected cardiac arrest. Rauf was rushed to the hospital on an immediate basis, but could not be revived. Apart from being an umpire, he was also a renowned cricketer in Pakistan.
2. A Chainalysis 2022 Global Crypto Adoption report has revealed that India is ranked 4th in Cryptocurrency Adoption, with an index score of 0.663. First rank, for the second consecutive time goes to Vietnam with an overall index ranking of 1.000.
3. Speaking about Maharashtra, Anil Agrawal, Chairman of Vedanta a multinational mining company headquartered in Mumbai has said his company is "fully committed to investing in Maharashtra as well.” The Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis tweeted on September 14, "Thank you very much for choosing Maharashtra for the Vedanta-Foxconn affiliate project! We will always remain competitive and pro-business to attract investment to Maharashtra.”
