In this off camera flash photography tutorial, I took a sequence of photos where the only thing I changed was the natural light in an image. I thought it provided a good lesson into how you can add variety to your images and quickly change the overall mood. It also shows the versatility that flash provides over using natural light alone.
I was able to do this very quickly, in 20 seconds, by using the relationship between flash and ISO. Between every image I dropped the ISO 1 stop, and increased the Godox AD200 output 1 stop. These two actions cancel one another out as far as the flash is concerned. However the effect on the ambient light is a drop in brightness by 1 stop of light. Each time I do this, the subject becomes more pronounced is the scene.
