Lovenkrands: Rangers 'will be itching' to bounce back from Celtic defeat
Ex-Rangers forward Peter Lovenkrands says his former club will be “itching” to get back out on the pitch and put the Old Firm defeat behind them.
Philippe Clement’s side lost 3-0 to Celtic in their last game before the international break in a result that leaves them in fourth place in the Premiership, five points behind their city rivals and Aberdeen.
And the Dane, who was a fan favourite at Ibrox between 2000-2006 after scoring 54 goals and winning two league titles, two Scottish Cups and three League Cups, insists the current squad will be desperate to get their season back on track.
