NOTE: Please backup your data off the hard drive that is being formatted because everything will be erased. This is for tutorial purposes only. I am not liable for anything that happens.
Admin rights on the Windows 10 machine are required to perform this procedure.
Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Type the following commands in order:
diskpart
list disk
select disk X (disk 1 in my case, may be other disk for you, essential to verify the correct disk)
clean
list disk
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format FS=NTFS label=AnyLabelYouPrefer quick
assign letter=X (any non-reserved label, generally after C: or D:)
exit
exit
