Welcome back for another Quick Tip Tuesday… I’ve got a good one for you today.. FINALLY, I’ve come up with a solid G7X Mark ii External Microphone Hack! If you’ve ever dreamed of using an external microphone with your G7X Mark ii, then check this out. The g7x mark ii is the vlogger’s “go-to” camera but it’s got one glaring flaw… no external microphone port. But, there’s always a work-around. By simply attaching the 2 pieces I have linked below you will be able to attach an external mic/recorder like the zoom h1n to the bottom of your g7x mark ii for easier handling and recording. Keeping the g7x and the microphone (recorder) tightly mounted together makes holding a camera and an external recorder super easy. This is my g7x mark ii external microphone hack!
