The Legend of Mt. Danglay in Brgy Cambayan, Basey Samar.
A long time ago, Dang and Mulay were trying to catch a huge sea creature near Kankabatok (Tacloban). They were punished to death and buried in this area without knowing they offended the god of the sea. After a long time, their mound grew and became a mountain. They called it Danglay in honour of the couple believing that they were also forgiven by the god of the forest.
