Jo (Helen Hunt), Bill Harding (Bill Paxton) & the team of storm chasers head out into an F3 tornado in order to test the "Dorothy" weather sensor machine but with the storm growing more unpredictable by the second, the team are forced to retreat which leads to the weather machine's destruction.
