HOW to stop steamdeck's screen from dimming/turning off on desktop mode (energy saving settings)
NOTE that if you only tick off the power saving mode options they will reset even after clicking apply after closing the settings, some system deep code is overriding it HOWEVER you can click second category "activity power settings" and click "Define special behavior", tick "Never turn off screen" and "Never shut down the computer".
Main energy saving setting let you:
on AC power:
do up to 360 minutes on both dim and screen off timer (as i said it wont save unticking/disabling) and does let you turn off/untick "suspend session"
on Battery & low battery:
nothing can be unticked but again up to 360 minute timers on all settings and on suspend you can select lock screen too if sleep or turn off arent acceptable
