Terrängbil m/42 KP, a first generation Infantry Fighting Vehicle developed during WW2 and in Swedish service until 2004. This version is the m/42 SKPF used in Sweden's UN missions to Congo 1961-64 and the Cyprus crises from 1964-93.
SKPF stands for, S= Scania made, KP= Armour bodywork, F= vehicular anti-aircraft. The main armament for the SKPF was a twin 8 mm, m/36 machine gun, AA ring-mount. Behind the machine guns there was room for 16 soldiers in an open roofed fighting compartment. The armour ranged between 8-20 mm, the weight around 6,3-7 tons depending on year and version. Top speed on road 70 km/h
