L.A. Noire (2011) gameplay in B&W (Monochrome) - The old film noir style
I edited out boring parts and I played without music to edit the cut smoothly, and added music later when editing with DaVinci Resolve.
Editing in 4:3 aspect ratio was incredibly difficult than I thought. In cutscenes, the left and right compositions had to be adjusted individually for each scene. And some scenes are impossible to edit in 4:3, so I had to composite both screens. Some scenes even had to create a camera panning by adding keyframes. L.A. Noire didn't have HUD removal MOD, so some scenes had to be composited to hide the crosshair and text displayed on the HUD.
Lastly, the video was completed through post-production such as B&W color grading, film damaged effects and film grain.
