McChord AFB Airshow | Thunderbirds | JBLM, WA | Pearl Harbor Reenactment | Da Spencer Adventure
It’s been 7 whole years since this even my has been held at Joint Base Lewis-McChord here in Washington State! It’s been even longer since we last attended being that we’ve been living on the East Coast! We couldn’t have been more excited to attend and again and it seems the surrounding area felt the same. This event attracted over 80,000 visitors two both days which was held on 15 & 16 July 2023!
If you are familiar with the United States Airforce then you know the Thunderbirds are their equivalent to the Navy’s Blue Angles Team! Both are impressive and both represent some of the greatest pilots in the world. The platform used by the Thunderbirds is the General Dynamics F-16 “Fighting Falcon,” and it was so incredible to see and feel them up close!
It was a warm day in the upper 80s here in the Pacific Northwest. We did the best we could to show a just a quick glimpse of all the action. We hope you enjoy coming along with us in this video🇺🇸
