Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Kyiv, Ukraine today. PM Modi is the first Indian leader to visit the country.
But his trip comes at a time - when Ukraine's operations inside Russia are intensifying.
In a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to engage with Russia to end the war.
The Indian Prime Minister also offered to mediate between the two sides and end the conflict.
"As a friend and partner, we hope for an early return of peace and stability in the region", PM Modi said.
