ESX Host –Configuration
Prepare the ESX Host Network for iSCSI
Create a new iSCSI software initiator
Mounting the storage ( usually re-scan will present the lun. )
If we have a new lun presented we will need to Name it, Format it with VMFS 6 then add it to the datastore cluster
Walkthrough FreeNAS:
Installation requirements The OS type FreeBSD
Min 8 GB Memory
One Disk for Installing OS
We can add multiple disks for storing your data ( lun/ datastores)

Configure FreeNAS:
Enable iscsi service and set it enabled on reboot
Shared tab ( options to configure for allowing access to all the host)

Provision Esx storage:
Add a Network for iscsi ( 192.168.1.113 /24)
Add iSCSI software initiator
Rescan the datastore.
