Hard Drive is Full - Let's Build a NAS ! (feat. QNAP & Toshiba)
For a good while I have been thinking about a storage solution. This far I have kept all of my videos and so on on a simple WD Blue Drive on my daily PC. Now as it is nearly full I decided to finally build a NAS as Clouds like Dropbox or Onedrive are actually quite expensive if you really need a lot of space.
I went with QNAP TS-653D-8G and 4x4TB of Toshiba N300 4TB drives. To be honest I would have wanted 4x8TB but it is still quite expensive. Later I can buy 2 extra 4TB drives or all upgrade all of the drives to 8-12TB ones.
