British vs American Tongue Twisters: World's Hardest
I tried and I challenge you to say the world's hardest tongue twisters. Not she sells sea shells or Peter Piper but much more challenging. It's a showdown between a tongue twister from Britain and a tongue twister from the USA. Who is going to win and take home the coveted award? Stay tuned to find out.
About tongue twisters - they are words put together which are difficult to say - usually based on tricky sound combinations. There is actually a different history of tongue twisters in the USA and Britain. You know that Guiness world records even used to monitor tongue twisters. For example, the USA have the likes of the wood chuck tongue twister and Britain has ones like red lorry, yellow lorry.
However, both sides of the Atlantic seem to think theirs is the world's toughest. So, I thought I'd put them to the test and so I hold a special academy awards ceremony - just like the Oscars - but for tongue twisters.
If that's not all, I perform the Tongue Twister song, first performed by Danny Kaye and well, it not easy to do either. Please comment on what you think is the hardest tongue twister - I'd love to know!
