In GW Books Club my friend Stu and I make our way through the 17 original books published by Games Workshop between 1989 and 1991.
Long before the Black Library existed and only a few years into the worlds of 40k and even Warhammer Fantasy being a 'thing' these stories speak of brave, exciting, challenging, and sometimes alien interpretations of Games Workshop's iconic worlds.
This month it's time for Demon Download, the first novel set in Games Workhop's Dark Future. Written by Kim Newman under the pen name Jack Yeovil this is a cyberpunk horror mash up that brings together Blade Runner, Mad Max, Judge Dredd, and HP Lovecraft in a compelling, high octane adventure!
