Ingredients:
• shrimp (cooked-frozen) – 200 g
• spaghetti (other pasta) – 200 g
• cream (milk) – 100 ml
• parmesan (any hard cheese) – 60 g
• butter – 40 g
• olive oil – 2 tbsp
• garlic – 2 cloves
• salt – 2 tbsp
• ground black pepper – ½ tsp
• parsley – 10 g
You will need:
• carving board
• stockpot
• pan
Preparation:
1. Defrost the shrimp, peel and devein, wash with cold water.
2. Pour 2 l of water into a stockpot, add the olive oil, 1½ tbsp of salt, bring to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. If no «al dente» instruction on a package then boil for 1-1,5 minutes less than indicated on it. Pour off 100 ml of the water, the pasta boiled in, for a sauce.
3. Chop up the parsley leaves and mince the garlic.
4. Heat a pan with the butter, add the shrimps, ½ tsp of salt and ground black pepper each and fry on both sides until golden over high heat for 2 minutes.
5. Add the garlic and fry for a minute more, pour in the cream, 100 ml of that water the pasta boiled in, add the parmesan, reduce the heat to medium and stir until smooth sauce consistence.
6. In 2 minutes drain the pasta.
7. Add into the pan and combine well all the ingredients. Sprinkle your creamy shrimp pasta with the grated parmesan and parsley and serve hot to the table.
Advices:
1. Defrost shrimps naturally to avoid additional heating.
2. Use cream from 10% to 20%.
