EARLY RELEASE is the story of Taylor Reynolds, a typical suburban mom, who made some bad life decisions and was sentenced to three years in jail for a DUI and possession of drugs. After her release, Taylor fights the stigma of her past misdeeds, works to regain the support of her daughter Bianca and husband Jeff, and once again become a contributing member of society. But just when Taylor’s life is getting back on track, her former cellmate and career criminal, Meghan Flanagan, unexpectedly appears and invades Taylor's world. Meghan has a devious plan. She wants Taylor to come clean and confess the truth behind her early release. Taylor will stop at nothing to keep her family safe from Meghan, even if it means stepping back into the world she ultimately escaped.

EARLY RELEASE raconte l’histoire de Taylor Reynolds, une mère de banlieue typique comme les autres. Les mauvaises décisions qu’elle a prises par le passé lui ont valu trois ans d’emprisonnement pour conduite avec facultés affaiblies et possession de substance interdite. Après sa remise en liberté, Taylor cherche à effacer les stigmates de ses anciens méfaits et elle s’efforce de regagner le soutien de sa fille, Bianca, et de son mari, Jeff, afin de redevenir un membre à part entière de la société. Alors que Taylor commence à remettre sa vie en ordre, son ancienne codétenue, Meghan Flanagan, qui est aussi une criminelle aguerrie, fait brusquement irruption dans sa vie et se montre envahissante. Meghan a un plan sournois en tête. Elle veut que Taylor révèle ce qui se cache derrière sa libération anticipée. Rien n’arrêtera Taylor dans ses efforts pour protéger sa famille contre Meghan, même si, pour ce cela, elle doit réintégrer le monde auquel elle avait finalement échappé.
