Lenovo introduced the ThinkStation PX flagship workstations in China. The Lenovo ThinkStation PX is equipped with two-way scalable Xeon processors and a flagship graphics card up to RTX 6000. The Lenovo ThinkStation PX line has models. The new generation ThinkStation PX comes three months after the release of the ThinkStation P5 and P7 workstations.
The Lenovo ThinkStation PX borrows some design principles from the Aston Martin luxury car. Aston Martin is a manufacturer of high-performance sports cars, and the workstation is reportedly based on the DBS luxury sports car. The workstation adopted some of the aerodynamics found in the DBS. The ThinkStation PX has a three-dimensional air intake grille on the front panel. This is combined with Lenovo's three-channel cooling system for maximum airflow. The workstation also features an innovative modular design, and the front-mounted storage can be upgraded at any time.
The Lenovo ThinkStation PX has a dual-socket Xeon processor with up to 120 cores. It also has a 53% improved performance compared to previous iterations of the model. It supports up to four dual-slot NVIDIA RTX 6000 graphics cards with Ada architecture. The workstation allows users to seamlessly manage complex workflows, including creative post-production and CAE modeling.
The new ThinkStation PX has a capacity of up to 4 TB of DDR5 memory. It also provides ultra-high bandwidth through high-speed PCIe Gen 5 connectivity.
