Add an Editor's Email when a Checkbox is Checked in Google Sheets with Apps Script
Note the content of this tutorial is designed for Google Workspace Domain users rather than consumers (free accounts). Some of the results may not work as expected in consumer accounts due to Google's authorisation and security settings designed to protect the user.

OnEdit() automation can shave time off of your team's spreadsheet work by automatically completing tasks for them. One of these tasks is to add the editor's email to a row in a Google Sheet when an edit event occurs. For example when a user checks a check box. Then, if the user unchecks the checkbox the email is removed.
