Toshiba’s RemotEye® ESS is an IoT device that allows Toshiba’s SCiB energy storage system to communicate over a network via Ethernet or 2-wire RS-485. It is designed to monitor overall status remotely, collect data for analytical purposes, helping to mitigate downtime by providing instantaneous access to data and system status. Innovative features the RemotEye ESS offers include automatic firmware updates, Modbus TCP multi-thread, simultaneous protocols capabilities, and a comprehensive web app to facilitate monitoring of the overall system.
