Alik manages to convince to cancel the operation in the very last moment. The trucks indeed were full of flour. Zotov is surprised as he was sure he’d find drugs there. But the criminals don’t trust Zotov that much and they often check him weakening his nerves. He is sent to watch people who live in a specially built village where they pack up the drugs that arrive there. As soon as the date is set a special operation is being prepared. But Zotov has another nervous breakdown. He is found with his wife in another town… Only a few hours left before the start of the operation… The IAD guys have different opinions: some think that they can’t take Zotov back and that they can manage without him, but some say that the criminals would cancel the transportation and escape if they won’t find Zotov… It is a hard decision but Zotov is back to Zhizdra. Near the entrance in town Zotov’s car with two police officers inside is shot up by the bandits. The operation starts and it is a successful one. Almost everyone gets arrested and the trans-shipment point is closed. The only thing is that Zotov dies. IAD officers can’t look each other in the eyes and they walk away in the different directions.
