What camera did you use back in the day?

These cameras were release with social media in mind.

The Sony Bloggie PM5 came with software that would allow you to upload directly to social media.

It didn’t have any image stabilization features so footage was always incredibly shaky.

Such a strange time for cameras. We already had smartphones, but was a product for someone who wanted better quality.

I have the feeling the advancement of smartphone cameras essentially put a stop to these types of cameras.

To be fair, if Sony released a 2021 Bloggie style camera, with the camera quality of an iPhone 13 Pro Max, at super budget price, I think I would be super interested in it.

I just like recording to SD cards 😅
