Let me be clear, I am not speaking for everyone, this is my experience;)
We need to normalize this so that we don't feel like we can't be honest with you. This is way more common than I think most people realize. There are ways to keep things fresh and moist even when freezing is involved. Now I am not saying months, I am saying a week, maybe 2 when things are really busy. I have been doing this for 16 years and have never had even one person complain about dry cake. Quite the opposite, actually! Custom detailed cakes take time and can not be done well in 1 day. More simple stock cakes can be done much faster! So let's be open about this and know that we only want to deliver the most beautiful yummy cakes for our wonderful customers! And again, not speaking for everyone;)
