You asked, and I’m delivering! In this tutorial, I’ll reveal the secrets to creating a mesmerizing flying Bentley logo animation. Let’s take your editing skills to new heights! 🚀
RAW clips are waiting for you in my bio! ✅
Step 1: Import your clip into After Effects and create a fresh comp.
Step 2: Duplicate your clip and name them.
Step 3: Rotoscope that logo on the top layer and freeze that frame when you’re satisfied.
Step 4: Precomp that layer, moving all attributes.
Step 5: On the bottom clip, work your masking magic, feather it, and choose „subtract“ for the mask type.
Step 6: Time to track that mask throughout the video!
Step 7: Head over to the „Content Aware Fill“ tab, select „Edge Blend,“ and watch the magic happen with a fill layer.
Step 8: Move that PNG fill layer to the bottom, and get ready to cut the Logo Rotoscope layer where the animation takes flight.
Step 9: Grab the Puppet Position Pin tool and pin those positions to make those wings flutter.
Step 10: Dive into effects - puppet - mesh 1 - deform.
Step 11: Open the puppet pin options and set keyframes for the position, creating the illusion of flapping wings.
Step 12: Convert that layer into a 3D layer.
Step 13: Set keyframes for the position to make the Bentley logo soar like a champion.
Step 14: Activate motion blur on both the layer and the comp for that cinematic touch.
