This video demonstrates Datedif function in excel . This function can be used to Calculate your age in Excel. This function is basically meant to find difference between two dates. This difference can be in term of years, months or days.
The syntax of datedif() function is : datedif(start_date, end_date, unit)
start_date refers to starting date
end_date refers to ending date
unit refers to what you want to find. There are six values :
1. Y : Difference in complete Years
2. M : Difference in complete Months
3. D : Difference in complete Days
4. MD : Difference in Days ignoring Months and Years
5. YM : Difference in Months ignoring Days and Years
6. YD : Differenc in Days ignoring Years
