Advanced Phase Unwrapping Techniques in InSAR

2D phase unwrapping (PU) is one of the biggest challenges in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometry (InSAR) processing. As an ill-posed problem, the performance of the traditional algorithmic model-based 2D PU algorithms is not guaranteed to be correct with rapid ground deformation or topographic changes. This presentation will introduce two advanced PU techniques (TSPA technique and deep-learning-based PU techniques), which break up the limits of the phase continuity assumption and enhance the 2D PU solutions in the previously theoretically and practically infeasible scenarios.
