Auto racers from across the country meet annually in Arnold, Nebraska to participate in one the few open road challenges held in the USA. The SORC was Joe's dream that became a reality when people from the community stepped up to make it come true. Two decades later, the weekend event attracts thousands and the inflow of tourist dollars to the area is now over the million dollar mark. The funds go toward supporting local fire departments, schools, scholarships, and other charitable causes.
