Today we’re going to learn about the Interquartile Range or IQR. We’ll cover the definition and utility, how to calculate it and how to identify outliers. Interquartile Range is the difference between the medians of the second and the first halves of a data set. It shows the spread between the 25th and 75th percent of the data, i.e. the middle 50%.
