How to Back Up Your Files in Windows 10 :Tutorial
Just think, if you have worked hard on an important project file in Windows, and the next day you didn’t find it there. This situation can create big trouble for you. But wait, you no need to worry about it. In this video, we will show you how to automatically back up your files in Windows 10.
1. Insert a USB drive into your computer’s USB slot.
2. Now, click on the Window logo icon at the bottom right.
3. Click on the Settings.
4. In the Settings window, click on the Update & Security.
5. Click on the Backup tab on the right sidebar.
6. In the Backup panel on the right side, click on the Add a drive with a plus icon.
7. Select your drive from the showing drives list.
8. You will notice that the Automatically back up my files option has been turned ON.
9. Now, click on the More options.
10. Here you can Add a specific folder that contains your work files, photos, or other important data.
11. After selecting the Backup folders, click on the Back up now button.
12. This will start taking backup of your files and folder into the USB drive.
13. You can also pre-schedule the backup time of your choice.
14. Also, how long do you want to keep your backup files and folders.
15. Click on the back arrow button at the top left.
16. If you want to restore the files or folder from the USB backup drive, then click again on the More options.
17. Scroll down to the Restore files from a current backup, and click on it.
18. Select any folder that you want to restore, and click on the green color restore icon button at the bottom.
