Esta canción cuenta la historia de la Batalla de Wizna entre el 7 y el 10 de septiembre de 1939 durante la Invasión alemana de Polonia al comienzo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Los 720 polacos enfrentaron a42.200 soldados alemanes del XIX Cuerpo de Ejército bajo el General der Panzertruppe Heinz Guderian (por lo que la canción debería llamarse en realidad 59: 1) pero sin embargo retrasaron seriamente el avance aleman.
