Children's Television Workshop "Snake" logo (1978) - Christmas version
Christmas variation of the rare, elusive CTW "Orange Snake" logo used from 1978 to 1983. The animation is a bit slower and has a film-like quality, originally seen on "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street," (which is most likely this logo's debut), compared to the more faster-paced and videotape-like version from "3-2-1 Contact," but could also supposedly be found on other non-Sesame Street (series) CTW productions of the time. The original eerie Moog synthesizer music is also replaced with dreamy-sounding Christmas chime music.
Good luck trying to find this logo, as it's become the rarest CTW logo out there thanks to CTW/SesameWorkshop's nasty logo plastering/editing habits. This isn't even included on the DVD (they simply cut it so the special starts with no logo), and the Sony Wonder VHS release from the 1990s starts with the 1983 "Sparks" logo instead!
