These Terraria mods allows you to do something... that's cursed.
Terraria has some shortswords for you to use. It's... not really great, I'd say. I mean, is there anyone saying that's actually great? If so, you must be special one... or I'm just wrong about it. The chance of you turned pro-shortsword is much higher after the Journey's end though: Now it doesn't have the fixed position for an attack!... but sadly, not every weapon has that feature... So these mods will fix just that.
