Join us this week to make a beautiful Art Batt on our electric drum carder with Marie Spaulding and special guest Natasha Smart. Natasha picked out all of the fibers and goodies; watch and learn along side her as she makes her very first art batt on the electric Little Tom drum carder. You will learn how to prepare the fibers and how to build up the art batt in layers for a beautiful result. Learn how to paint fibers on the drum carder to really control the design and get the most out of your fibers. We also demonstrate how to remove the batt carefully so as to minimize the need to spend a lot of time cleaning the drum for its next use.

Enjoy this #slowfiber moment as we take you step by step to learn how you can make art batts for spinning and felting. As a special treat, Natasha shows us how she used her art batt to nuno felt a lovely triangle scarf. Plus, she educates us on the proper "Devon Way" to have a cream tea at a local café in Devon where she lives, located in the South West of England.
