The Crazy Future of Sampling with Stem Separation & 3 Ways To Use It
Today we’re taking a look at something that can often feel like magic in music making, stem separation. We’ll take a look at several of these tools, Serato Studio (a free program) and Koala Sampler. If you’ve ever wanted to isolate instruments in a sample, remix a track you only have the stereo track of, or create one shots of your favorite sounds, it’s all possible with this tool! While it’s a great asset, it’s not without its cons, namely some artifacting in the isolated sounds, but we’ll discuss a few work arounds.
