This was mostly inspired by @marisa_cat2077's video on the same song. You make great surreal stuff idk how you do it. Shout out to @theweebdev as well. I learned how to use ray-mmd thanks to your tutorial for it!
Okay so I'm trying out MMD for the first time. This was literally just supposed to be a test animation at first, but then I had this idea in my head and I wanted to see it through. This took 16 days. I think that's more time than I spent on the Bocchi backrooms video, but I was also somewhat busy while making this. Was looking for a job (and then failing) on the side, and then helping dad with some stuff as well.
For some parts, I had to use Blender just cuz I'm more used to that software and also to escape some of MMD's limitations.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this. I didn't do too much animation, but I learned that using references are extremely helpful. These movements aren't the most dynamic thing you've ever seen, but they look way better than they were initially cuz I tried to physically do the movements myself, took note of every body part that moved, and then tried to replicate it in MMD. It was a fun experience. It doesn't really have the Jack Stauber style that I was hoping for but I'm still proud of it.
Also, some random guy who isn't Jack Stauber claimed the song on this video. I don't know what his deal is. Doesn't really affect my channel because it's currently unmonetized lmao.
