I came to the coldest city on earth, Yakutsk, in Yakutia disctrict (or Sakha Republic), in the Siberian Far East, to learn how people live in such harsh conditions.
The average winter temperature is between -40 and -45 ºC (-40, -49ºF), and the coldest ever measured here was -64ºC (-83,2ºF). What a fascinating experience, I hope you can enjoy it with me :)
