My Review for Alan Wake 2, a "Game" from Remedy and Epic Games that after 13 years is a long awaited sequel to Alan Wake. Alan Wake 2 is overall a game I would advise to DO NOT BUY...at least in it's current state at launch. That's not to say Allan Wake 2 Sucks or Alan Wake 2 is Bad, but the game definitely has some major issues in the form of it being a borderline broken game at times and the fact that over half of the game is spent playing as FBI Agent Saga Anderson instead of Alan and there is barely any gameplay to be found. In fact a good 80-90% of this game is spent either in cutscenes, in dialogue, walk & talk segments, or finding random items in the environment with little to no combat for hours at a time. Also given the nature of the story and ending of Alan Wake 2 being explained as obvious sequel/DLC bait it is hard to recommend Alan Wake 2 to anyone looking for something more than a borderline Telltale style Movie Game. The story that is there is good at times but the overall experience feels bloated and dragged down by frustrating and tedious mechanics that serve no purpose to pad the runtime
