This was the largest fire ant colony cast I had made at the time at 25.3 lb and 21.5” deep. This cast was on display at the Biennale Internationale Design in France in 2015, after which it was used by the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry as a piece that went on the road and passed through several museums.
