What is Ohm's Law
Current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference between the ends of the conductor provided temperature and other physical conditions remain the same.
According to ohm's law, we have the expression connecting the potential difference , current and resistance as V = IR.
Here the potential difference is directly proportional to I. So this is applicable as long as V is directly proportional to I. R is the proportionality constant. It is called as the resistance.
