ESMO Virtual Mentorship Programme
Matteo Lambertini, Chair of the ESMO Young Oncologists Committee, and Rille Pihlak, a Committee Member, highlight the ESMO Virtual Mentorship Programme and its benefits. This 12-month programme, developed by the ESMO Young Oncologists Committee in collaboration with the ESMO Women for Oncology Committee, connects young oncologists with experienced mentors for valuable guidance and support. Participants are matched with ESMO Leaders who provide personalised 1:1 mentorship, especially in areas crucial to their career development where they might otherwise not have access to a mentor.
