Russian Strike in Ukraine's Poltava Kills Over 50, Zelensky Reshuffles Cabinet | Firstpost America
A Russian airstrike killed over 50 people and injured nearly 300 others after two ballistic missiles hit a military training institute and a nearby hospital in Ukraine's Poltava city. According to Russian bloggers, Ukrainian cadets were gathered for a military parade at the institute when they were attacked. However, the Ukrainian defence ministry said there was no parade happening at the time. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that rescue operations were still underway to rescue people trapped under the rubble. He has also announced a cabinet reshuffle and has dismissed his deputy chief of staff. Several Ukrainian politicians have questioned the military leadership of Ukraine, accusing it of endangering the lives of soldiers.
