Kedi Movie stars Ravi Krishna as a college student. Ileana, who is from a poor family background, becomes Ravi Krishna's friend and later falls in love with him. Tamanna is a rich and arrogant girl who was the state topper in the board exams. Tamanna finds Ravi Krishna very uncivilized. Tamanna's arrogant attitude irks Ravi Krishna. Tamanna and Ravi Krishna get into petty squabbles. Tamanna publicly humiliates Ravi Krishna after which he challenges to defeat Tamanna in both studies and sports. With Ileana's motivation, Ravi Krishna defeats Tamanna. Infuriated, Tamanna now 'wants' Ravi KRishna. When Tamanna finds out that Ravi Krishna is in love with Ileana, she becomes determined to separate with the help of her brother Atul Kulkarni, a powerful minister, who would do anything for his sister.
Kedi Songs are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Kedi Movie remains Tamanna's only negative role. Ileana who made her debut in Tamil with Kedi made a comeback with Shankar's Nanban opposite Vijay.
