1. Stable Base: Learn the importance of standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and engaging your core to maintain stability throughout the movement.
2. Hand Position: Discover how to hold the handles of the resistance band with an overhand grip, palms facing forward, at shoulder height.
3. Pushing Motion: Follow our instructions to press the handles overhead in a controlled manner, fully extending your arms without locking out your elbows at the top.
4. Modifications: Find out how to modify the exercise for those with shoulder issues or limited overhead mobility. We’ll show you how reducing the range of motion, using a lighter resistance band, or performing seated overhead presses can help alleviate strain.
