"Stilla Natt" - (English: Silent Night)
The Swedish version of the Austrian holiday hymn Stille Nacht. The hymn was first was heard on Christmas Eve 1818 in Oberndorf bei Salzburg. The hymn quickly spread, while being changed and simplified. It is said to have been translated into more than 300 languages and is by far one of the most widespread Christmas hymns. In the 19th century the song was translated to Swedish.
