Join me and my buddy Jeremy as we embark on an unforgettable canoe and hammock camping adventure on the stunning Dee Lake Chain in British Columbia's Okanagan region. We paddled through four beautiful lakes and set up our hammocks on a serene island on Deer Lake, the third lake in the chain.Our days were filled with fishing the surrounding waters, where both of us managed to catch a few rainbow trout, including Jeremy's very first fish ever landed! We cooked up delicious soft tacos on our backpacking stove and were visited by friendly whiskey jacks that landed in our hands and on our hats.The nights were magical, with breathtaking displays of the northern lights that we were lucky enough to capture in some amazing photographs. This was my first time hammock camping on an island, and it was truly an unforgettable trip with some unique experiences.Don't miss this incredible journey through the natural beauty of British Columbia, filled with fishing, camping, and stunning scenery!
