Drift by guy from Norway - Fredrik Sorlie in Nurburgring.

Fredrik Sorlie FAQ for commenters/trolls:

Q: Isn't drifting the Nordschleife against the rules?
A: Yes and no. It's technically a single file, one way autobahn. Drifting is not forbidden per se, but in the event of a crash you would probably get in trouble with the police for reckless driving. Just like any other maniac out there would - drifting ot not...
EDIT: It actually says "no drifting" in the rules for driving on the ring. All I can say is that they don't seem to care as long as you're not a complete idiot :)

Q: Did you get banned?
A: No, not even a warning. The marshalls did not seem bothered. However, I made sure to do several normal laps first so that they knew I was not some idiot going crazy and out of control on my first lap. I'm pretty sure they are experienced enough to tell the difference between a reckless idiot and, well, me...

Q: How many drivers did you hold up with your sideways antics?
A: None. The track was almost empty. It was the end of a quiet sunday, the lap was still 8:30-40 BTG and I have mirrors...

Q: What if you had made a mistake? You could have killed someone!
A: That would have to be a huge mistake, but sure, accidents do happen. That's why I made sure to abort a drift if I got close to other cars, as well as stayed well within the margins of what I am comfortable with. Keep in mind, I spend all summer doing 110mph reverse entries in this car. I can handle a little skid in third gear without killing anyone.

Now, go watch the video. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
