How to extend a transition in only one way in Premiere Pro
Here are 3 things you maybe didn’t know about transitions in Adobe Premiere Pro.
First, if you add a transition on a cut-point and it only shows on one of the clips, shorten the clip a bit so that you have some material that can overlap and now when you add the transition it will cover both clips.
Second, if you want to move a transition, just simply click and drag it sideways.
And third, if you want to extend the transition but only in one direction, hold down the “Shift”-button and then drag one of the sides of the transition.
